ideas for a 2010 'art-for-all' giveaway thing...

the past couple of years our 'art-for-all' giveaway prints have been really popular and have really worked well in getting folk to visit the various VA venues around the festival.

so assuming that we do it again this year, one option that's been suggested is to take each line of the poem/reflection that derek posted further down the blog there ["what you notice when you stop looking..." etc] and get artists to respond to it with a print design. [see these illustrations by hannah broadway - a set of something like this might work?]

we could print them up as postcards, or a single big print, or as a three-print set with five designs on each [there are fifteen lines in the poem]

also, with 2011 in mind, we could invite chris tate along to draw the festival with the intention of using his work as next year's print designs...

all other suggestions welcome!

So been a bit quiet for a while but I'm going start to post some of the ideas that have been coming in over the past few weeks.........
